Ok, so maybe I'm stretching the timing a little but it does feel like I have been fat for a LONG time! Well... don't know if you guys have this problem but all day I have thought about things I could write about and now that I'm actually at my computer- I can't remember anything!
Well, some of you may or may not know but right before becoming pregnant I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease which means that my immune system is attacking my thyroid for an unknown reason. Now- to give a quick run down for those who are not aware... thyroid regulates your hormones that controls a lot of your body including your moods, metabolism, fatigue, etc. You can google it to get more info. ANYWAYS... I was place on medications and given a specialist which I see every other month and have blood tests every month. My doc said it should not bother the baby as long as I regulate my thyroid levels. Well, I just saw him the other day and the good news is my levels have NOT raised above abnormal and now that I am 30 weeks along the baby has developed his own thyroid and began creating his own hormones!! Therefore- he is no longer having to depend on me and I don't have to go and get another blood test until after the baby comes!! YEA!!
oh, and some REALLY REALLY good news- I tried on a pair of my pants from before I became pregnant and I can fit them!!!! (I can't zip or button them but hey I can still put them on!!)
